About the Role As an In-Home Family & Youth Support Worker, you’ll provide practical and emotional support to families and young people in their homes and communities. You’ll help build resilience, strengthen relationships, and empower individuals to reach their goals in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe and supportive home for at-risk youth.
- Provide practical and emotional support to families and young people.
- Assist with daily living, personal care, and transport to school or appointments.
- Promote skill development and community engagement.
- Deliver trauma-informed care and participate in frameworks like TCI and Trauma Recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support health needs where required.
✅ Certificate IV (or higher) in Youth Work, Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Social Work, Disability, or similar.
✅ Australian Driver’s Licence (P2 or higher) and insured, roadworthy vehicle.
✅ Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
✅ Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
✅ Flexibility to work various shifts (short, long, split, transport).
