Join Edmen as a Casual Disability Support Worker! This role offers the opportunity to empower individuals to live independently, reach their goals, and lead fulfilling lives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living and personal care for individuals with disabilities.
- Create a supportive environment that promotes independence and inclusion.
- Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and accessing community resources.
- Administer medication, monitor health, and keep accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
- Respond to emergencies, uphold confidentiality, and provide emotional support.
✅ Minimum of 12 months experience working in the Disability Sector
✅ Hold an Australian Certificate IV or higher in Disabilities, Community Services, Individual Support, Mental Health or similar
✅ Australian Drivers Licence (Full Licence)
✅ NDIS Worker Check (Yellow Card)
✅ Working With Children Check for paid work (Blue Card)
✅ Current First Aid & CPR certificate
✅ MAYBO Training
✅ Reliable Vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance
✅ Medications Training
✅ The ability to work a mixture of morning, evening and overnight shifts as required
