While each of our employees played a valuable role in our success last year, there were several that went above and beyond. Nominated by Edmen staff and management, we are thrilled to announce the 2020 Employees of the Year.
Iylose Mapika – NSW
The entire Edmen HQ team would like to congratulate Iylose Mapika on receiving our NSW Employee of the Year award for 2020. As you know, this award is presented to staff members who have gone above and beyond to live by the Edmen Values and represent Edmen Community in a positive way each and every day.
Iylose has been consistent in this during his 10 years with Edmen so it was a natural decision that he be the recipient for this award! Thank you so much for your outstanding performance and continuous contributions to the success of our company.
Thank you for being the eyes, the ears, and the voice of one of the most vulnerable sectors of our society. We appreciate everything you do, Iylose!
Congrats to Don Macleod for taking out QLD Employee of the Year in 2020!
Don was a standout Edmen employee throughout the year. He is always punctual, very responsive, and frequently received glowing feedback from our community service partner. He has established himself as a valuable addition to both the Edmen team and our client, and never fails to impress us with his commitment to both his work and customers.
Well done Don, thanks for the impact you have made (and continue to make) at Edmen and in the lives of those you support!
Marty Atem - SA
The SA Team would like to say a massive thank you and congratulate Mary Atem for being our Employee of the year for 2020. Mary is truly deserving of the title, purely because of her WOW factor, she is positive and always willing to help out no matter what. Mary is consistent with all requirements of the job, she is super prompt and responsive and always answers our calls. Mary has built some great relationships with the clients she has been supporting and has received great feedback for her commitment and hard work.
The awardees were chosen for their outstanding commitment and contribution to Edmen and for the valuable work they do with our community service partners.
Last year’s winners, Mary, Iylose and Don, all represent the core values that make Edmen what it is. A massive congratulations to these very deserving Disability Support Workers/Youth Workers.
